Grant beneficiaries claim they were signed up for funeral policies without their permission

Photo: Thembi Siaga&lt;/span><br><p><br>- Old-age grant beneficiaries say amounts of between R100 and R280 are being deducted from their social grants every month.<br><br>- Sassa says these deductions are for funeral policies provided by 1Life and Emerald Life.<br><br>- The beneficiaries insist they were unaware that they had been signed up to these policies.
